If you’re in the Bay Area, this event is a fun way to learn about the and practice the Alexander Technique! ⁣

⁣Join the Bay Area Alexander Teachers (BAAT), of which Galen Cranz is a part, in a meeting with snacks, fun, practice, and learning on Saturday May 10, 2025 at San Francisco State University, Library Building Room 121. We’d love to meet you there!⁣

⁣Our guest speaker is David Anderson, the Director of the Marian Wright Edelman Institute for the Study of Children, Youth, and Families at San Francisco State University (SFSU). His research centres on understanding how motor skills are acquired, how to promote the development of motor skills, and how motor activity influences psychological functioning. He is a passionate advocate for the importance of physical activity in optimal motor and psychological development and is committed to promoting efforts to improve early child care, education and health. David is one of the keynote speakers at the 2025 Alexander Technique Congress in Dublin, Ireland, this August, so do catch him here if you can! ⁣
